Richard Miller Custom Homes used Martin & Martin Electric / AKA MMD Services / AKA Monte Martin as the electrical sub for my home remodel. They grossly underperformed. It appeared they sent electricians but no supervisors and Richard Miller did not oversee their work. In wiring the house, they cut old wires, eg, in the garage, without replacing the connections. They did not follow the construction plan at all. The electricians seemed to "wing it": did not install wall switches at the ADA height per the plan, they installed receptacles at varying heights, one electrician told me he uses his hammer as the measure, they installed mismatched-white wall switches, backplates, and receptacles, one electrician wrote measurements on my newly installed quartz ctop, they ultimately jury-rigged the garage wiring so I now have to open the door in order to turn off/on the driveway light. I spoke with Monte Martin the owner, he seemed surprised to hear my report and clearly had no idea what happens at his job sites. He did not do anything to remediate my situation, and ultimately sent me another bill for >$2K through Richard Miller, which I did not pay, told Richard to tell Monte to eat it. The company advertises their work in art and other high-end installations, complete failure in my case. I see their shoddy work in my house every time I reach for a light switch. None of this was corrected by Martin-Martin or Richard Miller.
