    Martin was amazing - the condo conversion process in San Francisco is very confusing and Martin was the ultimate expert, and really helped us through the process. Would highly recommend.

    I did a major home remodel in '08 with Martin. I added a sunroom adjacent to kitchen, added a half-bath, did a complete kitchen remodel, a complete full bath remodel, laid hardwood floors in kitchen and sunroom (which perfectly match the adjacent dining room, living room, and foyer - including cherry trim around perimeter), updated electrical, added furnace in attic (with ducts into ceilings) as the upper floor of house had no heat source, replaced gravity furnace in garage with new forced air furnace, added shear-wall retrofitting to garage, restored original wood work in dining room (wall panels and built-in China cabinet), restored/recreated original facade of house, which had been removed by prior owners in ~1940s-50s. The results were outstanding -- several years later, and I still absolutely love the work that he did in my home.

    It was a big project, and Martin was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout. He was onsite every day, always easy to reach, very communicative about any upcoming decisions, etc. His original cost estimate didn't change -- no surprises. (I realize if there had been unexpected findings that needed to be addressed, e.g., dryrot, the cost could well have changed -- but there were none in my situation.) And his time estimate was spot-on, too.

    My family has subsequently hired him on a few smaller jobs and had the same experience I did.

    He does excellent work, is honest and communicative about the work, and has integrity. I feel so fortunate to have worked with him on my big remodel, and I would hire him again in a heartbeat for any future plans.
