    replace p trap in batroom

    the person came in my house not wearing a mask it took him an hour to replace a p trap he had to pull half the stuff out of his van to to find things to repair it with this job should have a half hour i did my myself a lot times he has to me organize in his i paid for service that could been done a little faster i went hwa

    I have used Martin's several times and always been pleased with quality of work and cost. They fix problems that other companies misdiagnose. Staff is courteous. What is important for me is that they carry not just liability but
    workmen's comp so they can work in condo buildings.

    Plumbing stoppage through home warrenty
    $95

    Through my home warrenty. Their tech broke through my floor with an arrowhead/spear attachment on a snake down through my toilet. They busted something in there before driving the snake THROUGH CONCRETE AND TILE into a closet then couldn't be bothered to contact the home warrenty company.

    Terrible Customer Service

    I used this company through my home warranty company American Home Shield. The service technicians who came to my home were friendly and courteous; however, this company is run like a bad "mom and pop" and provides poor customer service and terrible follow-up. After experiencing the installation of a defective hot water heater installed by this company having them honor their scheduled appointment times to come replace it was an absolute nightmare and I wouldn't recommend anyone reading this do business with them. Take a look my experience promised and missed appointments:

    The service provider missed the consultation appointment for 3/7. I received an install date of 3/14 and the new unit that was installed was deemed to be defective (leaking). Since then dealing with this company has been a complete nightmare. I was promised that it would be replaced at 4pm on 3/17 only to find at 4:30pm that they were going to be unable to install it. This was a complete inconvenience as I drove to work and spent money for parking in downtown Philadelphia ($34 per day) only to find my money and more importantly my time had been wasted. I was then told someone would come to my home 3/18 and that appointment was never fulfilled. I was assured that my hot water heater would be installed on 3/19 at 4:30pm. To my dismay, disbelief, and disgust at 9pm (after 4.5 hours of waiting) I was told that my appointment would have to be rescheduled to Sunday.

    The Owner/Service Manager is terrible with honoring his appointments. To give an complete and fair review a positive aspect was Ileana (customer service rep) seemed to be very willing to assist me and was able to secure an appointment for Saturday 3/21 (which someone did come and install the hot water heater). I actually feel sorry for her being caught in the middle of the bad business practices of her boss. The company also gave me a "generous" 10% off of my bill.
