    Worst Asphalt Job

    They just did a job for me in Sandy, it looks horrific. The owners son came out and tried passing it on as I am hard to deal with and the compaction lines are totally normal for any asphalt job (idiot). I cant believe the incopetancey of this company or their workers. The salesman said we needed road base and had it in the estimate and when the Son (owners rep) arrived he was quick to say they did not need any and that he needed to stop the loads from coming that second. Now I have pavement that looks like crap and Im sure I will be tearing it out in a year or two and redoing it. The spider veins alont the edge of the pavement are already showing up and it has been installed for a total of 3 days. To boot, they showed up here telling me this story of extra material they would need to get rid of and I will get a great deal because they needed to unload it, I knowing nothing about asphalt (my bad) listened to them and once we had our "deal" I released them to install. The "deal" by the way was basically 14K for 6200 square feet which I have since learned is the going rate when you dont bring in road base and you install over existing materials with a little amount of grading (again my bad). Do not use this company unless you want to get screwed, trust me, it doesnt feel good. Ive been screwed by Mary B Gormans' son and salesman and didnt even get dinner. Be careful who you hire, it may not be as good of a deal as you think.
