When my husband’s mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease our lives took a turn of uncertainty. A memory facility was not something she could afford, and we wanted her to have reliable care from those who loved her most, but having her move into out 2,000 square foot home was not an option, because it was too small. Since we loved our location and lot, it just made sese to build onto our current home instead of moving. Then came the challenge of finding a builder that not only understood new construction, but how the new part and the old part of the house should come together. What seemed daunting and maybe even impossible was soon quelled the minute we contacted Master Builders. After meeting with John for the first time his calm demeanor and obvious experience in building home additions were signs to us that this was the person, we wanted to work with, and our instincts were right! The entire Master Builder team was an absolute pleasure to work with! Building a multi-generational home has certain needs that a standard family home does not, and John and his team listened and understood how best to approach it, from the planning stage right to the very end of the build. The level of professionalism, communication, and integrity made all the difference in this lengthy process. We trusted Master Builders with one of the biggest chapters of our lives, and they didn’t let us down — not even once! We are deeply grateful for their dedication, patience, and the pride they put into every custom detail. Our home has always been a gathering place for family and friends and people are always commenting now about how they love the gorgeous details and natural flow of the home! It is hard to be able to tell where the new part of the house meets the old part, as the two areas were expertly blended. This isn’t just a structure — it’s our favorite place to be and we are eternally grateful to the Master Builder team!
