Don't ever let them do any work for you. They did 2 porches and 2 walks for us 3 years ago to the tune of $23,000.00. Got a 10 year warranty in writing and everything. It's not worth the paper it's written on. After one winter it stated flaking off. Sent them pictures and were scheduled to repair. The person scheduled thought we were going to pay another $4,000.00 for repair. Two years later, we're still trying to get something done. They won't answer the phone or emails. Have been trying for 2 years. How can you run a business and not answer your phone? Stay away from Spadecrete.

I can't even begin to put into words the lies from the so called business. These people should be in jail for the money they are stealing from people. I paid 3000.00 for a small front porch and just two years ago. It all cracking falling off after a year and half with trying to get them to fix it . Nothing but con artist. Now we need to spend more money to have it taken off and use something new. The salesman was a joke Michael Bloom he said you drive a Mack truck on this stuff. I filed a complaint with Pa Attorney General s office. Please stay away from this place.

Masterforce /Spadecrete/ did not do a good job on my walkway overlay. In a few months, the overlay started to crack and chunks came out of the walkway overlay. Spadecrete did not honor the warranty, and does not return any phone of our phone calls. C.M.Y

I have been trying for more than one year to get Spade Crete to repair the patio for which they did an overlay for my elderly parents in 2013. Their website says their product is "strong and durable" and "is not affected by extreme heat or freezing temperatures." FALSE. After one winter, the Space Crete material cracked and began to break off in pieces. I called them repeatedly throughout the summer of 2014 to arrange for repair work under the warranty. They (I have the contact's name as Bob Harder) claimed they were extremely busy and then they said that they wanted to have one of the men (Jerry) who did the original work to come out and take a look but that he had been injured and was recuperating. Bob and Jerry finally came to my parent's home to see the deteriorating patio in November 2014 and assured us they would redo the job in spring 2015. Never heard from them in spring so I began calling again in June 2015. A man named Jeff returned my call and said they would get back to me after July 15. I called again on July 17 and left another message (I've never been able to call and speak to someone other than voicemail - also the Spade Crete website does not list any business address, which seems suspicious). A woman named Adrianna called on July 21 and left me a message saying she spoke with the "top installer" and they wouldn't be able to come out until mid-August as they are running behind because of all the rain we've had. After reading the other negative reviews here on Buildzoom, I now feel that Spade Crete is going to continue to push this off and not honor their warranty. I plan to file a complaint with the Pa. Attorney General's Office of Consumer Protection, contact the Better Business Bureau and the Central Pa. Chamber of Commerce, and explore any other avenues to address this matter. This patio is at the front entry to my parents' home and it looks terrible with a large chunk of the Spade Crete overlay missing near the front steps plus cracks and more pieces missing in other areas. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.

I hired Masterforce a company owned by Robert DeHarter whose office is in Lewisburg PA, and who's residence is in Milton, PA. He installed a Spade Crete driveway to the tune of $15,000. In addition to being slippery when wet, the driveway started to crack within 3 months of installation. Because it had a 1 year warranty, I called DeHarter who came out and said, "Wow, this is excessive". He then proceeded to do NOTHING about the problem. I'm not sure what he considers acceptable or non-excessive. That remains to be seen. Since it appeared that he didn't seem to be responsible for the problem, I hired an attorney. Probably because of this, DeHarter sent out 2 workers to make the cracks wider under the pretense of eventually fixing them. I now see that he did this spitefully, because he told the attorney that he (or someone affiliated with him) had no intention of fixing my problem. At this point, my attorney issued a subpena for DeHarter to appear in court. I believe that 3 different subpenas was issued to no avail, because the officers of the court were unable to locate the elusive DeHarter. I am told that other sheriffs have been spotted at his office, but he is never there. He simply pays rent for a space that he does not occupy. I have no idea that this last statement is true, but I do know that DeHarter is less than honest, and I do know that he is definitely the WORST business man I have ever encountered. Therefore, if you are considering purchasing Spade Crete or dealing with Robert DeHarter, I caution and tell you that is will be the WORST investment you will EVER make.

By AnonymousSeptember 9, 2014Driveway overlay$$8000.0012 daysFRAUD!
I paid them just under $8000 to do a drive-way overlay with synthetic concrete and the workers did not perform the work the salesman sold me. They did the job and after only two months, it started cracking and lifting. I called every month, sometimes twice a month and now they don't return my calls or answer the phone. I just reported them to the Attorney General and have a meeting with a lawyer this week. I just want them to come do the repairs. This is a terrible product that only lasted a couple of months. I am ashamed that I made such a big deal to my neighbors about getting this done when it looks like crap after such a short time. Shame on Spade Crete, Master Force Construction

Spadecrete workmanship is sub par at best. Very hard to get in contact with. Multiple excuses of why they can not come to start or finish the work you contracted for. I give them the very lowest score possible.

In 2012 SpadeCrete and their laminate over an existing concrete deck around my pool. They promised it would last a lifetime. Bull. After a month or two it started chipping, creating sharp edges for my everyone to maneuver around. It's been cracking in large and small pieces every since... Hey folks, good luck if you try to contact these people cuz it ain't gonna happen. They've flown away. If would just like to have the damn stuff removed from my concrete deck and go back to square one. If anyone knows of a way to get the rest of this SpadeCretery off my deck I shall be eternally grateful if you could share it. A piece of machinery, a solvent....just any suggestion. Master Force Construction is a sham. Do everything you can to discredit it. On a grid of 0 to 10 I give them a -10. They got over $12,000 out of me!
