Within 3 days of talking to Jim we had met and had a quote. We were very impressed with his quick response. All right before the thanksgiving holiday. Also he is the only contractor that said he could match our siding. This quote was to add a master bathroom 12x13.

James Pierpoint Thompson is hands down the worst contractor we’ve ever used for remodeling, not just in Houston, but throughout the country. He turned a basic home renovation that he said would take four weeks, and it was four months of nightmares. Our job took far longer than it should have because he was simply terrible at managing the process and he has no regular staff; all of the subs he hired were strictly low rent, low quality people and they screwed up so much of our jobs. It was maddening. No attention to detail; lazy and sloppy work. Both he and his subs only rarely showed up when they were scheduled. when they worked on our house, they almost always made mistakes that required reworks . Jim didn’t check anything; we had to check every job to ensure things were done properly. Jim’s only function seemed to collect checks, lie to us on the phone, and to bring in sub par contractors and people he hired off Craig’s List. And you don’t need to just take my word that Jim is a terrible contractor. There are literary dozens of one star reviews about Master Home Remodelers on different sites, and for good reason.
