This was the worst company I have ever dealt with. Mark stephens, the owner was very accommodating up front until he gets your money. After that if you have poor workmanship as in my case you will never get ahold of him. You can text, call or email and you will not get any response for days weeks or even months. I spent 2 years trying to resolve the issue. Someone called him a fraud in another review. That word or con artist would be exactly how I would describe him. Do not use this company.

Please beware!!!. He can change his business name quickly but not his name 'Mark Stephens'. Read this with open mind and also consider I am sharing this from a recent experience.

I found this builder on BuildZoom. My wife and I were going to use BuildZoom as a guide for our construction home. We met Mark, and was convinced that he would help us with our project. With his calm demeanor, I thought I was in good hands and I don’t need BuildZoom anymore.

This guy is the worst person you can ever think of handling your project. For the past 5 months, all that has been done is permit and lot clearing. He brought multiple construction papers to me of the houses he is building, I was a fool to trust this guy easily. I even invited him into my home and around my kids.

This guy is not a construction builder, maybe he can pull permit here and there or help with minor remodeling, but don’t trust his calm looks. If you are not convinced and want to use him, I am open to showing you records of communication with this Fraud of a man.

I have sent him multiple text, my wife has also called him but he has not responded.

He has collected about $93k from us. I am definitely seeking a legal advice on this one. Very shameful and if he tries to come here and lie about anything. I will post all our conversations here. I will collect every penny that is not spent on my project from him. What a fraud.

He came and he bid on the job but every time I asked him he said “it’s not on the scope of his work”. Every tradesman that walks into my house said his work is unacceptable and I should take him to small claims court. Not one professional thinks he did even an ok job! I am having to pull out the windows and have them reset. I am having to redo the wall because he framed it incorrectly and it’s bowed out. He showed up a handful of times and never knew what was going on. We were left to be the firemen foe the unqualified workers he brought to do our project. He even told us the day of installation “Now just so you know he is not licensed as an electrician but he’s great! I can tell him to stop working and get you a licensed guy”… leaving us compromised, uncomfortable and completely unethical.

I hired Mark for my Garage with Living Space project and was extremely impressed with the finished product. We hit a few road bumps along the way with "crappy/un-neighborly" neighbors, shortage in materials and I can't forget weather, but I could not have asked for a better ending.

Mark and all his subs were all good to work with and their attention to detail can not be matched. I compared the craftmanship to the other homes being built on my street and their is no comparison.

Worked as agreed. Work was very good

Finished project was excellent. He made sure that we were completely satisfied with everything before final payment. He had reasonable pricing and worked with us on all our requests.

I didn't hire Mark, but he was very professional and organized. I hired someone who has worked in my community before and knows all the ins and outs of the HOA requirements. This person did not come from BuildZoom.
