Matt Hill has been a professional framer for 20 wonderful years now. His interests in framing developed as a young kid, fascinated by tree houses to play in with his friends. Since then, he has designed and built 10 tree houses for families and friends, including ones with multi-level platforms and spiral stair cases.

Matt especially enjoys framing complex roofs and stair cases. Roof cutting is the PhD of framing; odd angle walls, multiple wall heights, and mixed roof pitches are more than just framing, it is also a combination of complex math and art. Most contractors are not equipped with the knowledge, math skills, or experiences to frame a complex roof like Matt. His designs are both complex and elegant. Mr. Hill also went to school for architecture and is highly skilled in AUTOCAD.

Matt proudly owns "Matt Hill Custom Homes", a company that designs and builds houses for people all over Kern County since 2006. His company also builds tree houses in Kern, Tulare and North Los Angeles Counties. His company's first project was a beautiful, secluded home located in Tehachapi, California that was built from buying the property to the closing of escrow.

Mr. Hill designs and builds all his houses through his own imagination and creativity. His company also builds patios, additions, tree houses, gazebos, and of course custom homes.
