Bad customer service and definitely not meticulous work...Matt seemed like a nice guy, he showed up promptly and estimated a reasonable price to fix a leak in our shower/tub and replace the handle hardware, but when he showed up he had brought incompatible hardware. For this reason he had to use the "backup set" he brought which cost $70 more. We agreed to pay the additional cost.
After he finished the work we noticed that no matter what setting we use both the shower and the tub faucet are on to some degree. Also the handle hardware he installed wobbles around when we turn it on, the plate moves. This is NOT the normal functionality and therefore is sub par work. I called this out to him and he said "There is an internal part that can be swapped out. To save some time and money I bought the shower only model which is why it leaks by a little. I can swap out that part for another $50 if it’s an issue." That would bring us to $120 over the original estimate. When I complained about this he replied that he actually UNDER-charged us, could have charged more and he can't "give this kind of work away for free". So basically his inability to accurately give an estimate on work or price out hardware falls on the customer and he'll make no attempt to ensure the customer is satisfied.

5/24/24....I used Matticulous Plumbing (Matt Landry) for a new construction of my cottage in Litchfield after he was highly recommended by a local contractor. I cannot say enough good things about Matt. Not only does his work mirror his business name of "Matticulous", he is very professional, affordable, and does top quality work, while always keeping current code requirements in mind. I would definity use his services in the future.
