I rarely take the time to write a bad review, but I feel compelled to do that here. If you're looking for quality work on schedule and on budget, this is NOT the company for you. The work MGC completed for me was sloppy and each time I followed up my concerns went either completely unaddressed or - worse - were actually blamed on me and my family. As an example, they installed a built-in shower shelf as part of a $20k renovation of a small hallway bathroom and made the pitch at the wrong angle so that the shelf cannot hold even a single shampoo bottle. When I pointed out the noticeable slant, I was told by Robert that he wasn't seeing the issue - so to this day, the shelf is not usable as they built it. In one of the more ridiculous exchanges, Robert claimed that me and my two small children caused a large crack in the brand-new toilet tank they installed in the bathroom instead of admitting that it had been damaged (likely dropped given the extent of the damage) during installation. They also disclaimed any accountability for the work they supervised on my stone back patio that just a few months later started growing moss because it hadn't been properly attached to the surface. The fact that these issues were present, and the completely unprofessional way in which they were handled speaks volumes to the type of business this is. But most shocking has been the accusations against me and my kids for the damage. Completely unprofessional, shoddy work with zero accountability. If you need a reliable contractor who takes accountability for their work and behaves professionally to address any issues, I urge you to keep looking.
