I had five contractors bidding for my home renovation, and the range of bids I received was wide. I asked the contractors to meet with my engineer and architect, and to review the plans with all of us together.
Our project was difficult because of the age of the existing structure, and the local laws for permitting etc.
The bids came in ranging from 80k to 135k, and George was somewhere in the lower middle. From the get go we made some changes, and we kept changing the specs on the go. At some point I decided to go ahead and make changes to the whole plan on my own, and tore down ceilings and walls to "see how it looked under there". George was extremely patient with us, my engineers, and my architect. Every change we made was accepted, brainstormed, reconfigured, discussed and priced very quickly by George.
I can't say enough for the guy's patience, and ingenuity to find solutions to our problems.
At the end of the day, I believe that I have house that is one of the most structurally safe in the town, and a home that I enjoy living in. The job was finished on time regardless of all of the last minute changes.
Five stars all around.
