Swain Construction has built my Mother 2 homes, of which in my opinion are both of very high quality that you do not often see in homes, he always shows concern in getting it custom built to meet your needs and is very Honest and helpful , always explains any questions you have. I have had Swain Construction to do many of our remodeling projects and have always been pleased , he has many years of experience to help with ideas to make the correct decisions on the projects . I also have had 2 coworkers that had their homes built by Swain Construction.I will always recommend Swain Constrution .

Max built our house a few years ago and walked us through the process step by step making sure we spent money on the important areas like insulation, and heat and air. We love our home and receive compliments about its looks by nearly everyone who visits. Thank you Max for our beautiful home.

Words cannot express the amazing quality of work we received from this builder. We have built 3 homes with Swain Construction and will use them again. Every home we have built has the highest quality of care from the beginning to the end. Each time we have sold one of our homes it is because someone has recognized their amazing quality of work. When family and friends enter our home they always comment on the beautiful finishes that only a custom home could have. Swain Construction is the most honest, hard working and reliable company you could ask for. Every step of the construction process is evaluated personally with careful thought and consideration. Each concern and question I had was met with a skillful and experienced response. If you are considering building a home Swain Construction they have long list of happy homeowners, many that would be happy to show you their home. Please know that good, honest, and quality work is what you will recieve when you build with Swain Construction.

This is a terrible company. They drag their feet every step of the way. You have to basically keep calling them to remind them that certain things still need to be done. You will pay more money using them than someone else because they inflate their prices. Built less than 1000 sq foot mother in law quarters and 6 months later still waiting on little things to get done. Do not waste your time and money on this company. You will regret it.

I used Max Swain Construction to build my new home. This is a short summary of my experience. My new home is less than 2000 square feet and it took 11 months to complete. I had to continuously fight to get his workers to the site to work and then to do the work properly. I had to hire a home inspector to prove all of the faults in the home. Faults were found in framing, wiring, HVAC and many others. After living in the home only 6 weeks, the dirt around the septic caved in and you can see the pipes and tank. (The septic was installed the week before the house was completed and the yard was completed three days later, not allowing time for the dirt to settle.) Now my floors are squeaking due to the house being left open to the weather for months. The dirt around the septic was fixed, but I have been waiting for weeks for the floor to be fixed. I have pictures and videos documenting my horrors as the home was built and have them as evidence rather than pleasant memories. I would not recommend his company.

Swain construction built my home in 2009 it was a difficult build because we converted a old barn in to a house. Max worked with my wife and I and made the most beautiful home and did it way beyond our expectations. We recently sold it and he is currently working on our last dream home were that we will be staying in it forever. Max has worked so hard on it and made it so efficient and put so many details in to it. He has done so much research on new and up coming ideas for us. My wife and I am so happy with our two builds he has done for us and went above and beyond to make sure we were on budget and time. After reading some of his negative reviews I have come to the conclusion some people you can not please, because he is a great guy and one heck of a builder. So with that said if you are looking for a GREAT builder then I highly recommend Max and would give him 10 stars if it was available. Thanks Max and your company for all the great homes you have help my wife and I become reality.
