  I had a leak issue around the flashing at my chimney along the roofline as well as some siding and insulation board water damage. I used a service (unfortunately I do not recall which one) that put me in contact with several contractors. Scot Maxwell with Maxwell Roofing was the third contractor I had come and give me a free estimate. Scott was by far the most knowledgeable, polite and professional of all three. Scott's quote was about $200 under the "rough" estimates given by the previous two contractors although, that it not why I chose him. I did so because of his professional appearance (company truck, personal appearance and demeanor, obvious great knowledge and experience in roofing, seamless gutters, flashing, siding, trim, etc.) Scott kept in constant contact with me in regards to what the project involved, how he was going to repair the damage and gave me plenty of thorough options as to what he could do. Ultimately, Scott fixed the flashing issue near the chimney, replaced several pieces siding, replaced some insulation and even used actual wooden sheathing and the special house-wrap to fix the issues. Scott even had come across another flashing issue that I was not even aware of that fortunately hadn't leaked badly enough to cause interior or structural damage and even fixed that. In addition, after the quote was already made, I had requested he install the special "siding box" (sorry, I'm not terribly familiar with all the terms) for the previously improperly installed rear porch light and electrical outlet where there was also some leakage. I fully expected that to increase the total but when the project was all said and done, Scott kept to his original quote and did an outstanding and very impressive job. He was very quick given the scope of the work and was very professional as to his work and the surrounding areas by always keeping everything neat and trash in receptacle he brought, not tearing up my lawn as he had to bring equipment and materials into the rear side of the house from the front driveway. All in all, I would absolutely and unequivocally recommend Scott Maxwell and Maxwell Roofing Company to anyone hands down.   I used this contractor for minor roof repair (replacement of missing shingles from high winds) and received quality work and excellent service. Scott Maxwell came out to my house immediately after talking to me on the phone. He quoted me a fair and reasonable price and did excellent work. Not only did he repair my roof but he cleaned out my gutters at no charge to prevent any water leakage problems. I would recommend Maxwell Roofing to anyone who needs a roofing job done well.
