I recently bought a newly built property by Mayor Construction LLC. I have had an unfortunate experience working with them in regards to fixing obvious construction defects.
Half of the property had zero insulation in the crawl space and I am the one that found it. Goes to show that the attention to detail simply wasn't there. I am now dealing with what appears to be the nails coming up through the flooring. Leo had his guys come by to look at it and they proceeded to start banging the bumps in the floor with a hammer. I couldn't believe it. Leo told me that replacing the floor was not an option so at this point I am forced to go down the legal route.
I have a puppy who broke off a piece of kitchen cabinet trim with her tail while we were away. Come to find out the trim was held on with 1 nail with was protruding after the trim fell off. The dog wagged her tail into the 1 nail so bad that we had to have her tail amputated. There are many other issues, just would be too long a review. Use this contractor if you want shoddy workmanship and lack of accountability. Good luck if you do.
