MB Construction (in Fairfax) started our home renovation at the end of 2008 and abandoned the project in mid 2010 after numerous building code violations. MB had no design ability, did lousy work, and destroyed our basement during their construction due to water leak. MB repeatedly breached the contract and ignored Falls Church City building inspectors’ order to fix code violations. MB even told us if we sued them, they would go bankrupt. Do you want to risk your money, energy, and time on MB?? Don't be MB's next victim. MB Construction is the WORST contractor ever and very deceiving.
See other people's reviews online:
1. MB construction is completely unreliable and unprofessional. It is managed and operated by people who cheated on their test to obtain a license. They will use your money to support their other projects and when they run out of funds, they will buy cheap materials to work on your home. We've had problems with them EVERY STEP OF THE WAY. You're making a serious mistake if you hire MB. BE WARNED.
2. Stay away from MB NUMEROUS county code violations...land violation... We have to pay over $50k to fix their mistakes and damages to our home. These people will do anything to make profit and use the cheapest materials around. They couldn't even properly install a door knob - they installed it backwards.
3. Don't use MB Construction for your home renovation. Don't use MB Construction for your home renovation. MB has financial problems and cannot finish the job. My friend is using MB now and is sick of dealing with them. MB has delayed construction job for a year. My friend doesn't have a decent home to live for Christmas. Awful! I own many properties ready to remodel, but I will definitely not give MB Construction a consideration. I will tell all my friends and family about my friend's poor experience with MB construction.
4. Poor Referral. Couldn't handle what we needed and they said they could. Wouldn't recommend using them for your building needs.
