I paid Marc Gabriana $60,000 in cash, bought my own materials that should be included in his quote, gutted my 2 bathrooms, my kitchen, my fireplace, had me in an Airbnb for 5 months and each month promising to finish the house. He kept on asking for money and when I want to reconcile with him, pretend not to understand what I want and told me that all my money was already put in my house. The contract was not per hour. It’s per project that was identified. He said that the recessed lighting was 100 pct complete. How it can be complete when there is no light switch to test it. He gave me quotes for each bathroom and I bought the materials. Toilet bowls were never installed. And because I wouldn’t give more money as I have not seen any completion, he put light brown grout on a medium charcoal gray tiles. He is not to be trusted. He gives instructions to his workers but not enough work to do because he is working on other things other than my house. He said I should just told him if I do not have money and he would have worked on my house. $60,000 paid out of a 96,000 contract less the standard cost of materials he had added to it and told me that he will deduct the standard cost if I buy my own materials, which is included in the contract and he still was asking for more money without anything to show? He should not be in this business!
