MBI constructed a wheelchair ramp for my mother's home in Tampa FL. They did a great job. It is beautiful and well made. Thank you so much.

    Bath modification, Chair Lift, Ramps

They we're contracted by my case manager to do a number of projects and each time the installer had to be called back to fix a problem they created or just didn't do right the first time. On one occasion they damaged a pipe by hammering too much removing a tub. I'm still waiting on the installer Andres to come fix the leak. Now I had a chair lift installed and it still doesn't work after almost 3 weeks and I was informed today that it was dropped before it was brought to the house and installed by Steve. They have a contract with Sunshine Health but their installers are inexperienced.

    Bathroom remodel

MBI was hired by our case manager to remodel a bathroom for my son, after another company was already hired to do the job, It was Horrific!!! MBI, came in, Ripped out the mess the previous contractors had made. They made everything awesome as it should have been done the first time. It was all done in a very reasonable time. I only wish they had sent MBI the first time. Thanks again, MBI

    2 bathroom remodels

MBI installed a walk in shower and modified 2 bathrooms for my handicapped daughter
the work was done on time and perfectly-no problems and the tile work was superb-I was impressed with the level of detail care that was given to each project from the painting to the lighting
I was both pleased and impressed with the care and courtesy that was shown to my family during this renovation

    remoleded a condo
    $60,000

I would rather work with the devil himself. They ripped me off for over $60,000. The work was so bad that I had to have another contractor demolish every thing they did. I hired an attorney to sue him and he told me to forget collecting anything. His house and assets were under his wife's name. He is not a licensed contractor. He worked off of another contractor license for my job. George and his "super" lied about everything and blamed everyone else.
In the end, George told me that the job was completed and he had the final permits from the village and wanted the final payment. When I told him I will be down in 2 weeks, he said the contract requires final payment in 5 days. He threatened me that I will be in default. I refused to send the money. He even told me not to come down until I wired him the money.
There was no final inspection from the village, the kitchen cabinets weren't installed, the plumbing was not installed, the walls were not painted and the 1600 SF of tile flooring was a joke. The review above said he renovated 259 kitchens and bathrooms. George couldn't clean 259 bathrooms!

    declutter

Jose came to my home after being hired by my case manager to declutter my home. He trashed a lot of items, but some of the items should not have been thrown away and this would have been known by anyone using logic. He threw away prescription pill bottles that we had just picked up, were still in the bag, and never got to use. He threw away my daughter's tennis shoes which she kept by her desk. He threw away a full bag from Walmart that was on the dining table that we were never able to use. He threw away 4 Frontline flea treatments. He threw away 3 light bulbs. He threw away Christmas items. He threw away many other things that should have been put away. When I called him to ask why he had thrown obviously new items, medications, and Allison's shoes, he told me that I should have followed him around. They were hired because I am disabled and cannot clean for myself. I could not follow him around because I am unable to stand long. I told him that and that I was offended at his trying to pass his irresponsibility to me. I called Alex at the company's phone number and threatened to report them to BBB and anywhere else I could find online. He asked me to hold off and to talk with Hattie. She returned my call once although I left at least 8 messages. I left about 4 messages for Alex as well. Jose was rude and failed to use common sense. He just wanted to throw everything away rather than organize things. Also, when he left having only worked 4 hours, he asked me to tell anyone that asked that he worked 8 hours. When I called him to complain and told him that I would not lie for him, he said it was no problem since he was paid by the job and not by the time.

    bathrooms kitchens
    $1,100,000
    720 days

MBI Construction did a great job on the last 259 kitchen and bathrooms I awarded them over the last 2 years. I am a project manager for various developers. These guys were proactive to catch conflicts with other trades and were gentlemen when it came to resolving the issues. The employed top quality carpenters and plumbers. I wish Florida had more contractors like these guys.

    Bathroom ModificatonADA
    $10,000
    365 days

This company was hired by Humana to modify a bathroom for my daughter October 2015. The bathroom modification has to be one of the worst jobs I have ever seen. What a nightmare!. Failed approximately 8 inspections now awaiting the final inspection. Blamed everyone for their failures and unprofessionalism. A five year old could have done a better job than this company. Unprofessional, no quality control mechanism in place, would schedule inspections without notifying me until the last minute, failed to follows plans, this is just a few. The list goes on and on. I now have to go out hire someone to complete this job to some degree of professionalism and provide a finish project.. I can write a novel about this company. Left my bathroom in a mess when they left for the day, would never arrive on time. Their ADA consultant/supervisor never once voluntary came by the job site to determine its status. What a waste of taxpayers monies. The State of Florida Home Modification program is in deep trouble if this company is all they have to offer. I would not recommend MBI to build a dog house.!
