We hired MBR to tear down an old house, remove the slab, and backfill the hole with dirt. They tore the house down, didn't remove the slab, and to make it worse backfilled with construction debris. This breach of contract cost us $15,000 to fix the problem they created. When I reached out to Joel about the problem, he agreed they messed up, then refused to fix it in a mutually agreeable manner. He contacted his insurance company in an attempt to make it more difficult to file a claim. He's also ignored any attempt to work it out, including contact from our attorney. Unfortunately, it looks like we're going to have to sue MBR Wrecking to recover the $15,000.
