I have used McAtee plumbing twice and both visit were a nightmare. My house was trashed, water and mud everywhere and no resolution. McAtee didn't have the basic tools. No ladder, drain plugs, hose or pressure bag to evacuate the lines. After 3 trips to Home D. he was still unsuccessful. We are quite familiar w/the arrangement of our lines, and knew the blockage was w/i 8' of the kitchen sink, but the guy wouldn't listen, so he was working the lines backward w/no results.
On Friday my kitchen sink backed up. I called our home warranty company and they sent McAtee. The plumber was scheduled between 2-4 PM and showed up @ 5:30 & left @ 8 w/o resolution. He told us he would return Saturday "if the plumbing supply store was open and had a large snake". Well, the store was open but the plumber was a no show. Later that day, McAtee called and said they would have someone @ our house on MONDAY between 6-8 PM!! 4days to unblock a kitchen line? Enough!! We called Liberty Plumbing. The job was completed in less than an hour. They arrived appropriately equipped and were very professional.
