    RUN. Do not use. Worse contractor I have ever worked with. A lot of promises and no results. Went by his recommendations and it was the worst looking outcome. Had to come back to correct. His workmanship is shotty. Have to now hire someone else to redo the job as it is already coming apart.

    We contacted John about remodeling our bathroom shower the price was a little high but he guaranteed 100% satisfaction and completion on time Lewis was a lie what was I supposed to be a three-week job when on for 2 and 1/2 months we ended up having to fight daily with him at the end of the job the workmanship was so bad we had a whole a complaint with the registry of contractors okay to ride home and raided the real is substandard unacceptable to keep his contractor license they forced him to come back and repair the job that took another month I would give him a zero SunTrust or a 04 workmanship quality and a 04 dependability

    Today my husband called to get information about building a home. Our plan...build a small home first on our property...live in it and then build the big house in a few years and turn the small home into the guest house. As soon as my husband told the guy on the phone that we wanted to build a small house the guy cut him off and said "I'm tired of all you people calling about building small homes". My husband says, "Oh, you sound like I'm bothering you". The guy on the phone says "yes, actually you are bothering me". Seriously...the guy wouldn't even talk to us!!!!!! So disgusted!!! Would give 0 starts if that was an option.

    Hiring John McBroom was the best decision we made. Two years ago, our original contractor took all of our money and left us with a partially completed 1400sqft detached RV garage with plumbing/electrical that wouldn't pass inspection. A friend of ours referred McBroom Custom Builders to us, and we are so glad we called.

    John McBroom helped us find ways to save money in order to finish the project. Within the first week, he had corrected all plumbing/electrical issues, and within 45 days, the project was complete and passed final inspection. He also came in to the penny what his estimate was. He gave us regular updates throughout the project, always returned phone calls, and answered any questions.

    Two years later, we love our shop, and John has since done another project (approx $15k) for us. This second project went so smoothly, and again, came right at budget, even when we changed our minds on a few things.
