McClintock Construction Company/ Homesavers

Just in case people are not aware, Brad has been arrested (10/2015) by Jim Thorpe police.

Brad McClintock is a con artist by trade - Do not use either of his companies: McClintock Construction or Homesavers Remodeling. Brad sent me a fictitious contract, using the Joist app. Told me he needed a permit to do my project. When he would not return any of my calls, emails, texts, or GoSmith chats after taking 2/3 of my deposit money, I decided to check with the local township for the permit that he charged me. I realized I was scammed when the office clerk told me no permit was on file, and that my project did not need a permit.

GoSmith has already suspended them on their site. Why is there only a note of CAUTION on BuildZoom? And how are sites like these allowing scam artists like Brad McClintock to post his businesses without checking his background?

Same story as everyone else! I am out 16k with an unfinished kitchen, bath, bay window and french drain. The prosecutor's office has pressed criminal charges for theft by deception (multiple counts). He also was using someone else's license number. I can only hope that this does not happen to anyone else! I implore this site to look into- please contact the Barriington NJ police department for a full report and then hopefully take this company off your site!

Same story. Started work on a porch roof. Horrible work,no permits, not even close to code, had to be taken down. He personally promised me a refund, registered mail nonetheless. So many excuses..guy called out, truck broke, raining, family death, another family death, blah blah blah.. Now he just ignores me. The only good news is, that he actually lost money on the job because the jokers he paid to be at my house all day sat around and smoked for 8 hours, in between putting up a single board (incorrectly) one per hour. I'm also going to my local police department and filing a theft charge.

Stay far away from this man and watch out. He had 2 guys working at my house and they actually robbed the house. Also watch out for the associates he has working for him. One tried to hit on my wife and the other I found taking a shower in the bathroom??? Yes, insane.

PLEASE...do not hire this guy. He is a thief and a scam artist. I hired him to do my kitchen. I handed him lots of money for supply's, appliances, countertop. totaling 16,055.00. IT'S GONE!!!! and I have no kitchen. His status was "ELITE" when I found him here. OH but he is refunding me my money....he sent it 2 day priority on June 12th,2015..... I'm still waiting! My appliances are being delivered on June 8, 2015...still waiting. STAY AWAY...he is a criminal

Brad is a crook. He was indicted by a grand jury 10 years ago and is up to his old tricks. "A Burlington County Grand Jury also returned a two-count indictment against Brad
McClintock, age 34 of Hazelwood Circle in Willingboro, individually and d/b/a McClintock
Construction Company, Inc., and/or d/b/a Hot Tuna Construction, a Willingboro-based
company. The indictment alleges a count of Theft by Failure to Make Required Disposition of
Property Received, a crime of the third degree and Electrical Contracting Without a Permit, a
crime of the fourth degree, for Mr. McClintock’s agreements to do various home repairs at four
(4) different residences in Willingboro, and electrical work at a residence in Edgewater Park.
The indictment alleges that Mr. McClintock accepted monies totaling approximating $40,000
on diverse dates between and/or during August 2004 and September 2006 to do these jobs
and did little to no work". He took a deposit to construct a deck for us and then took off with the money and disappeared. He is very personable and charming - a gifted, likeable con man. Beware!

We signed Brad Mcclintock of Homesavers to complete painting and build a deck for us. Brad, at first, seemed professional. He is very knowledgeable about construction in general. Unfortunately, Brad disappeared with our money before completing the job. He is allegedly being investigated by the police in connection with criminal charges. We're out the money, which we will sadly never see.
