We hired Gabriel McCormick to clear the land, remove trees and debris put in culverts, a house, and driveway pad last year. He said it would be done by December 2015, then promised by April. We told him we were bringing trees to plant in May and when we arrived he had most of the trees out but not all of the stumps, no grading of the land and told us he gave away the trees because no one wanted to buy 5 acres of letters. He asked us for the $12,000 upfront and because we liked and trusted him, in addition to his being a pastor, we paid him. Basically, he is in breach of contract and has abandoned us keeping our money.
