I called McCoy's Plumbing this past Saturday to come over and fix a garbage disposal and to install a shut-off valve on my ice-maker water line. He told me he'd be here Monday between 4-6pm. So, I wait around. 6pm still nothing so I call and ask him how his day was going and if he still was planning on coming out. He tells me he's in the middle of a water leak, can't come out tonight. So, I asked him when he could come out. He said tomorrow afternoon he'd call me. I said can you give me a more specific window? He said "no". I said, I waited for you for two hours tonight already and now you want me to just wait around for your call tomorrow? My tone was totally calm. His tone, rude. He said "lady, just take your business elsewhere and hung up". Great way to do business. Bad enough that he couldn't even call me himself to let me know about tonight then he had to be a jerk about the reschedule!
