Kenny McDonald did not finish the work he was paid to do. Drugs, marital problems, and alcohol made a man of integrity a liar and a thief.
Kenny McDonald started out as an upright, honest man. We hired Kenny in December 2017 to perform concrete work, footings, grading, and eventually agreed that he would perform, gutters, electrical, some A/C installation/repair work, concrete sealing. Kenny's work was good when he was actually there to do it, but mid-summer, we couldn't reach him to communicate. He quit showing up, made excuse after excuse, sent inexperienced and unqualified workers to do the work, told one lie after another, and eventually disappeared. We have spent about $7,500 to hire professionals to correct Kenny's work and finish what Kenny had already been paid to do. Kenny realized that he had been paid in full before the work was complete, and he took the money and disappeared. Kenny has great talent but I would highly suggest not hiring him unless you have an iron-clad contract. His handshake and words are meaningless. He was working on an expired contractors license and we never saw his electrical license.
