We hired this company for the outside patio and staircase. The work started in May and it is still half way done as of the middle of June. This company has poor communication, very inconsistent with what is supposed to be done for the project, numerous excuses, and etc..we are very frustrated with the process and wish we had hired some other company. We definitely do not recommend this company!

I signed a contract with Jack McFee III and Chris Fischer on August 18th 2021 for a stone paver & concrete pad patio installation, and paid a $1600 deposit for a $4700 total contract. Soon after it became very apparent that Jack McFee III fraudulently signed that contract using his father's MHIC license (they have the same name) and ran off with my money with no intention of completing the job.
McFee Masonry's facebook page no longer exists. I have not heard from Jack McFee III at all since October 13th. I spoke to his father, the original owner & founder of the company, Jack McFee Jr, who lives in Florida, and said his son is fraudulently signing his name on contracts.
I am submitting a formal complaint to MHIC and am speaking with the MD Attorney General's Consumer Protection division. Do not use McFee Masonry, Jack McFee III, or Jack's new company, Mid-Atlantic Concrete, for any work.
