I have had numerous issues with the work performed on my remodel......HVAC installed poorly requiring full replacement in less than 4 years, inadequate gutter system on outdoor porch allowing for water to come into porch and to soak sill causing wood rotting, and uneven floor on 2nd floor remodel Tile grout in the master bath was inconsistent with two different colors/textures.
The concrete pad for the outside unit was uneven and the emergency shutoff was not close to the unit in case of an emergency...not sure how this passed inspection. As a good note, and as part of the HVAC install, the condensation PVC was not glued at joints which created a leak into the floor below. This was addressed by the contractor promptly though including repair and repaint of the ceiling. Initial work was very good, but in general, did not stand behind the sale and trying to talk about the HVAC challenge with the subcontractor proved worthless with no call back. Mike, as primary contractor, only referred me to the sub versus working with me to address the issue. There were many areas that were done very well and with quality.....but not consistent through the $80K work.
