We recently bought a home near Wilton, NC and decided to add a new split-system AC unit to our all season room. We also wanted to upgrade some of our existing electrical system. McNeill’s Current Electric was recommended to us by our chosen AC contractor, Select Heating & Air of Creedmoor, NC.
When we first contacted Jeremy, he promptly came to our home the same day for a discussion of the work to be completed and to give us a rough estimate of costs. This consultation and estimate were, of course, completely free. He followed up the next day with an email setting forth the actual final estimates for the work to be done. His estimates were well in line with both our expectations and our budget.
When it came to the installation of the new split-system AC unit in our all-season room, Jeremy was very flexible in meeting with the AC contractor at our home. He met with them for both the pre-installation planning and then again on the actual day of the installation. Prior to the day of installation, Jeremy first installed a new 120V circuit breaker in out electrical junction box and routed the AC electrical wiring to the location where the AC unit was to be installed. On the actual day of the AC installation he returned and installed a new outside 120V receptacle and switch box for the AC system.
On three other occasions Jeremy also returned to complete some additional electrical upgrades for us. He installed three new 120V receptacles in our all-season room. He removed the old 240V range receptacle in our kitchen and installed a new 120V receptacle for our gas range igniter. He also installed a new 120V circuit breaker for our storage shed and corrected wiring problems that he found there.
Since then, we have called on Jeremy to advise us on additional electrical concerns in our home. Every time, Jeremy has been prompt in responding to our calls and in coming by to meet with us. In servicing our electrical needs, Jeremy McNeill has been both honest and courteous. As a one-man company, Jeremy does not have the overhead costs and expenses associated with larger companies. Because of this, his prices are not only fair and reasonable, but also below market average. We highly recommend McNeill’s Current Electric for any homeowner’s or businesses electrical needs.
