Medina Roofing is the Worst Roofer I have ever seen. Even the City Inspector said his crew took BAD WORKMANSHIP to an art form. That is a quote. Sergio Medina agreed to recover the roof on my house and repair two areas of rotted wood. Sergio's crew didn't know the minimum standards to install the overlay. I have given him two months to come correct the issues and he makes appointment then doesn't show up. Then he shows up unannounced. His crew showed up without the materials to complete the work. I gave them a sheet of plywood to complete the work. They set the plywood aside and tucked a 1" x 3" board across the rafters the board was 16". This was to replace a 4' x 2' decking that had rotted out. They didn't know the rafters were visible from inside the garage area. I showed Serigo Medina Reyez the Owner of Medina's Roofing LLC the decking from inside my garage. He promised to come back and fix it himself. However, appointment after appointment he blew me off. Yet making more and more attempts to schedule appoints. He was a no show for at least 4 appointments. He also demanded payment and I told him when he finished the job I would pay him. He kept pressuring me to pay him saying he needs to pay his employees. He even showed up at my house in a $70K Jacquard while crying poverty and demanding the money to pay his employees. I didn't pay him. I was willing to pay him but he was unwilling to complete the work. Notice you will not find a mailing address for this company. Which is required to report the company to the Better Business Bureau. Not only did Medina's Roofing, LLC do a really bad job, Serigo's antic kept me from reporting him sooner and kept me from hiring a contractor to correct the work. I am pretty sure his labors are not only unskilled but I question their residency. They originally showed up on a Saturday morning and not one of them could speak English. Sergio claimed he was visiting California when I called him while his crew was trying to hurry and hide their antic. Word to all home owners. YOU MUST INSPECT THE WORK OF ANY CONTRACTOR THAT DOES WORK ON YOUR HOME.
