I have had an incredibly frustrating experience with Memphis Investments and PPMG of Texas, and I feel compelled to warn others about their poor business practices. Recently, the torsion spring on my garage door broke, and they sent a technician to fix it. However, instead of properly handling the service, the technician never rang the doorbell or made any real attempt to contact me. Despite this, they are now trying to charge me for a double visit, which is completely unfair and unreasonable.
I have provided clear video evidence showing that no one ever rang the doorbell or attempted to notify me of their arrival. I have also sent multiple emails explaining the situation, yet they continue to ignore the facts and refuse to remove the charge. Instead of taking responsibility for their mistake, they are insisting that I pay for a service that was never properly provided.
This is not just an issue of poor communication—it’s a matter of integrity and customer service. As a paying tenant, I expect fair treatment and transparency when it comes to service charges. Unfortunately, PPMG of Texas has shown that they are more interested in squeezing money out of tenants than in providing honest and reliable service.
If you are considering renting from Memphis Investments or PPMG of Texas, be aware that you may run into similar issues. Their lack of accountability, poor customer service, and unwillingness to resolve legitimate disputes make them a frustrating company to deal with. I would strongly advise looking elsewhere if you want a landlord that actually values and respects its tenants.
