Cleveland is redeveloping and we are excited to see what comes with all the changes! We offer in- house blue print drawings, interior design and most importantly the involvement of, Steve Mendrea, the owner of Mendrea Construction. With each job we take time to understand each customers' needs, expectations and deadlines. Many customers have expressed that we have changed their views of contractors in a positive way.     Avoid them at all cost. In my opinion Stefan Mendrea is a scammer.
    They were a preferred contractor with my insurance company claim. Because of their poor. & incomplete work they left the house uninhabitable. The home would not pass Cleveland inspections, therefore an occupancy permit was not issued. Even after consulting an attorney Stefan Mendrea was unable to be contacted.

    Various Projects

    Good luck getting them to respond back to you. If you have a large job, they’re more likely. They agreed to do work, then just stopped responding. They installed a sump pump, and according to 2 other reputable Waterproofing companies the sump had been spraying water, and wasn’t installed at the lowest point of the basement. The Waterproofing company fixed the spraying. Disappointing.

    My house is still not finished and it has been 1 year. Work in my home is awful. I am not happy. No permit to move in my house insurance quit paying the rent for the apartment I have been living in. And he has been paid. I don't even have a bathroom sink after a year. And let's not forget there is no copper in my home anymore. I am just saying beware.

    Said it would take 1-2 weeks just to get a written quote to us. That seems a little long considering that we just need tile laid down. We aren't doing any huge renovation!

    Selecting Mendrea Construction for my summer of 2014 bathroom remodeling was clearly the right choice. Mendrea Construction gave me exactly what I asked for at a reasonable price. My experience tells me that Mendrea workers have impressive professional skills and are good people of high character. In addition to doing great work, Mendrea took care of all clean-up issues, including disposing of all the leftover iron junk. When it comes to bathroom remodeling, the best use of money is to do it right the first time. In my case, Mendrea Construction was clearly the best use of my money. Thank you
