We used Menke Construction to reside our home. Unfortunately we had many serious issues with the siding installation. This resulted in mediation and a refund back from Menke Construction to have a different contractor come and tear off all the Menke-installed-siding and start over. The process was very stressful and disheartening as we believed that 37 years in the construction industry would transfer over to a professional job. Unfortunately, every corner was cut during the install. We have a beautiful large home and sadly our home truly looked as though a toddler sided it. Fortunately the mediator agreed and we were refunded a good portion of our money. I have never written a review on anything but felt compelled to share our experience so another family is spared the money and heartache.
*Incidentally- if Menke Construction has sided your home in recent years; it would be wise to look at the manufacturer specs on your siding to be certain there is a large enough gap between your flashing and siding. Additionally, you will want to check your outlet boxes and water spickets to be sure they are actually caulked properly behind the boards/vinyl box. As these are the main issues that result in moisture issues down the road. Good luck.
