    $45,000

    Rory and Lloyd are horrible contractors. From spraying paint over my new hardwood floors to doing a horrible job installing tile / grout. They did a bathroom renovation for me and now two years later, I am having to have my entire shower floor ripped up along with the pan and subflooring. They used materials that are not even for indoor use and my tiles were literally falling off of the wall. The shower was leaking into the den below the bathroom. Also, the floor in my daughter's bathroom is having to be ripped up and redone since they used glue that is not for internal usage. I could go on and on about how horrible they were to work with. DO NOT USEW THEM!

    Lloyd King of Metro Pal Contractors, did not complete a job that I paid him for. He was contracted to renovate my master bathroom and did not finish the job. He was very adamant about receiving the draws on the scheduled dates, which I paid by check and zelle, however he did not ensure he held up his end of the contact. He never finished my bathroom (never installed a tub and toilet is leaking on the floor due to him not pulling up the tile and placing a non-waterproof tile on top. I tried multiple times to contact him however, he ignored me for about 4 months. I finally reached out the owner of the company and he informed me to give him time, that he would talk to Lloyd. He told me Lloyd has done this before and that he was aware of my project. Lloyd has since tried to bargain with me after telling him I was going to sue the company, and explained he's going through tough time. Unfortunately that's not how you do business. The amount he requested to pay is not the amount I paid for that portion of the job. I am disappointed that he would do me, a military veteran and single mother this way. It is unfortunate that am is a terrible reflection of the Army values he "believes" in mentioning his service to this country. I would not recommend him or this company unfortunately as long as he is associated with them.

    Basement Remodelled

    Lloyd King is an unscrupulous man and not trustworthy at all. He took money for a draw to cover the drywall, insulation, and painting saying he needed it for supplies and never delivered. He said he could not install the drywall until he got it inspected. That never happened. He refused to return the $15,000 for that draw. After having someone look at his work, reputable plumber and electrician said it would never pass. I would not recommend him to my worst enemy.

    This client does not understand between profit being inside of the draw schedule. She isn't owed any monies and making baseless, false claims against our company. This client hired our subcontractors behind our basks and ignored the contractual agreement that was signed. In our contract it stipulates that the client cannot ask for the phone numbers of our subcontractors. This client decided to do that and break our agreement. Our company purchases materials with our own funds and with the funds from the draw schedule. We have a certain amount of profit built into the draw schedule to cover the project and pay for our services managing the project. Now the client is disgruntled and making false claims against our company and committing an act of defamation or slander against our organization. We have many attempts to work with this client but it appears impossible to satisfy this client who wishes to cause our company harm. Even now, we still try to work with the client but it appears useless. We have worked with thousands of clients and we only have two complaints out of 1000 projects. Something should be said about these clients who continue to publish nonsense about our company. We have built homes and completed thousands of projects over the years and never had a complaint until now. We have been in business for 16 years without any complaints. Sometimes clients and General Contractors do not see eye to eye but in this case the client is just unreasonable.

    Build Zoom should ban this company from their site. They are unreliable, constant mistakes in the work, charge for items they don't provide, leave the site in shambles without any dumpster and left me and my husband to clean up the debris. They constantly lie to make up for their shortcomings. Subs are not paid and they sneak in overages and cost fluctuations whenever possible. The only consistency is asking for a draw almost every Thursday or Friday so they can enjoy the weekend. I would never recommend them to anyone. The REAL REVIEWS are under RORY EVANS AND LLOYD KING. Search this site for the real reviews. Save yourself thousands of dollars and a lot of headaches by not using them.

    We have serviced hundreds of clients and this is the only complaint we have ever received. The client had unrealistic expectations and we tried our best to provide the client timelines to get the project completed. Anger and frustration set in with the deadline they set. The work was done in record time though the location was deep in the country, miles. from everything. We utilized subcontractors that was working 8am to 6pm to get the work completed. We believe that the comments made against our company are totally unfair, baseless, and just outright not true. We have hundreds of testimonials from satisfied clients compared to one negative complaint from one dissatisfied customer. Our reputation supersedes these kind of false claims since we have been in business for over 20 years completing projects without complaints. We were just not given a chance to rise to the occasion to meet these unrealistic demands.
