Complaint Description:
Hired July 2018 with projected completion 6-9 months from groundbreaking in Dec 2018. January 2021...project still not complete. Metro Solutions was hired in July 2018. Projected completion was 6-9 months from groundbreaking in Dec 2018. We are at almost 3 years and project is still not completed. There has been every excuse after excuse. Now it's COVID as excuse...but project was supposed to be completed by Sept 2019 at latest. We had water pouring in our downstairs bedroom and garage with sheetrock caving in due to roof not being covered properly. Our new addition was flooded twice due to retaining not being completed in a timely manner. Wall is still not completed. All the windows that were installed had to be removed and replaced because first windows were not up to code. Had a gas leak due to their damaging a hot water heater that was not addressed for over a month after multiple calls and conversations. Paid for cabinets that were only received six months after paying contractor. Now receiving bills from door supplier that bills have not been paid by contractor. Having to use an extension cord for some outlets because of electrical box outside that gets submerged in water. Can't get them out to correct. Still missing closet doors for a bedroom. Have been waiting on those since October. Final inspection is still not complete. The addition was built for my in-laws. We based our rental house budget for them on the 9 months of project completion. The 13 additional months before they able to move in costs us over $20,000 in rentals for them. The communication with Brian and Jimmy has been horrendous. Through this whole project, I have had to troubleshoot mistakes because they were not managing project. I have basically had to beg for them to show up and complete a project that I have paid them over $250,000 for. I would highly recommend that no one hire them for a home project.

Where do I start?!
1. Theft in my home from one of their subcontractors.
2. Same subcontractors poured cement over the grass in my backyard, effectively killing the grass.
3. Overcharging for incomplete and subpar work.
This is just the start. Brian Radican and Jimmy Joplin are con-men and hustlers. I hired Metro Solutions in February of 2021 after the winter storm. Initial communication was steady but information was inconsistent at best. Everything was always someone else’s fault and phone calls, emails and text messages would go unreturned for days at a time. I’m now receiving calls and having notes left on my door from subcontractors asking me for payment for materials that were used to repair my home. These same materials were invoiced to me by Metro Solutions and paid in full. Metro is also trying to get me to pay for work that was never done as well as overcharging me for some of that work. In one instance, four times what my insurance company has agreed to pay for that work. This company is a fraud, a sham, and should not be trusted in any way, shape or form. DO NOT HIRE!
