    Fiberglass pool
    $80,000

Metroplex Nightmare! I probably don't have enough space here to list out all of the problems and issues we had getting our pool installed from Steve. Look at past reviews - all the good ones are more than a year ago.
Started install last October -Steve's words - "we will have you swimming in 10 days"! - 6 months later I finally gave him the last payment just to get the struggles and frustrations out of my life and finished everything else myself.
The 3 guys that dug the hole and put pool in did an awesome job. Very satisfied with them. Then concrete guys came out - they did okay. My concrete is now cracking less than 6 months later though. Then the nightmare started - Steve told me he was turning everything else over to a guy named Greg who would handle everything else from there on out. As stated in other reviews, guys would come out without any notice, would not show up when they said they would, and when they did they never did anything. The waterfall was built wrong and leaked many times. They had to tear it apart twice, and then finally just packed it full of crap so we wouldn't know if it leaked. Greg ordered the wrong tile for our pool, and had it installed. Then we get the freeze over the winter. Water was in pool, lines and equipment - but electrical wasn't hooked up. I called Greg a week ahead and made sure he would have equipment running for the freeze protection, and he said he would get it done by the end of the week. I waited, and waited, and waited. The front came through on a Saturday night. Temps dropped below 25 and I finally went out to hook the electrical up myself only to find out that what they had done so far, was wrong anyway. I had to stay up all weekend to keep resetting the breaker as it would trip every hour or two because they tried to cut corners and do the wiring themselves instead of using an electrician. I sent Steve an email on Monday and told him he was fired. Do I get a call from him? Do I get a text from him? Nope. He sends a sub-contractor out to try and beg me in to letting them finish the job.
Then Steve tries to save money again by not having the electricians come and fix the issue, and again, tries to have other subs fix it - which doesn't work. After 5 trips out by the actual electricians, and all of the equipment that got mounted to the siding on my house being pulled off and moved several times which has now left holes that need to be filled and painted -the actual electricians solved the issue.
6 months of nothing but issues, excuses, no communication, no results - and I only heard from Steve twice the whole time - 1st when I fired him, and then 2nd when he couldn't understand why we hadn't released the last payment even though we were still nowhere near finished. Steve knew the entire time we were having issues and problems - and never bothered to call, text, email, or whatever. It's your company MAN! Take some responsibility for what is happening. And start listening to what people are saying instead of replying to everything with - "You're gonna have an awesome pool when we're done".
    He just wanted the money.
My wife and I are about the easiest going people around. We were in no rush to get the pool done, especially over the winter. I typically don't leave bad reviews, unless it is something that other people need to be aware of. We are real people, and live in Howe, TX., and the above just barely scrapes the surface of what we went through. So, unless you are ready for nothing but excuses and frustration in your life and have the ability to finish the work yourself - I would stay away from Metroplex Pools and Steve Fultz.
Spent almost $80,000 for the pool -cost me way more than that fixing his mistakes, issues, and items they chose to ignore, not counting the stress and BS. You don't even deserve the 1 star!

Put in a pool and deck
    $46,401

Steve was great to meet and seemed very knowledgeable about the pool business. He gave us a great price and then later on he gave us a larger pool for half the price. Pool took a little longer to complete however thought it was because of Covid. Permits took longer, supplies were on back order. But now we have a beautiful pool that will last a life time. Many thanks to Shane and his crew and the concrete crew they did a great job. And last but not least many thanks to Lori Dunn who came back 4 plus times to fix things that needed attention. She the best and very knowledgeable on all aspects of the pump and pool and pool school. Don't let her get away Steve. Again thanks for everything.

After doing some research and liking the pros of a fiberglass pool, we chose Metroplex Pools because of the good reviews we read and seeing the actual installed pools at other costumers houses. Other than dealing with weather and holiday delays, the installation process was quick and painless. We love our pool and look forward to many years of enjoyment.

    Fiberglass Pool Installation

Metroplex Pools did a phenomenal job with our pool. Although we have a big backyard it's oddly laid out and two levels. From the very beginning Steve gave us multiple suggestions of which pool shapes/sizes would work best in our yard. He did not try to upsell us on any add ons we weren't already interested in. All the subcontractors did quality work, and we were really impressed with the "Pool School" training provided after installation. We love our pool!

    Fiberglass Pool Install
    $63,500

We had decided to get a pool earlier this year. In August we called Steve with Metroplex after calling a local competitor for fiberglass pools. Vs other companies, Steve wanted to make sure that after the work was done the pool looked like it was designed for the house and the house designed for the pool. He was also cautious that we stayed with in the budget we laid out. Steve is knowledgeable and more than that interested in you as a client. All through the process he willing took phone calls to answer questions and was thorough along the way. All the trades with in the install process were professional and executed as we expected. Steve and his contractors treated us as it were their pool being built. I Highly recommend Steve

We LOVE our pool. Steve is a hoot, and is very easy to work with. Our experience with Steve compared to the other pool guys was that he steered us toward his more common installation instead of pushing towards all the extras. In any construction situation, not everything goes perfectly, but our pool installation went pretty well, and everything that went awry was immediately rectified. The construction crew that comes in is extremely professional, and they set your mind at ease! It is exactly as we wanted, and is very easy to maintain! We read the other crazy reviews about Steve's supposed sordid past... We asked for references... he showered them on us. Everyone else was very happy. We are exceptionally happy. Metroplex pools has built a business on satisfying customers, and they are doing very well!

Steve was very engaged with us during the entire pool experience. He kept us well informed with what was happening and was happy to answer all our questions promptly. I recommend Steve if you're looking for a pool. They also install a fantastic pool.
