Abe was continually there to explain the process of our kitchen remodel. He was able to get us timely step by step move ahead when the vendors returned to work through the Covid shut down. All of his staff was courteous and we are pleased with our new kitchen. We would definately recommend him for any remodel work.

Mr. Starks arrived to give me a estimate for the work I wanted done on the exterior of my home. Mr. Starks was very professional. We shook hands and he Immediately gave me his business card. I showed him the area of concern and he knew Immediately what the problem was and what all was or possibly could be Involved and how he would go about repairing/replacing the problem areas. I felt very comfortable with Mr. Starks and knew strongly that he was the man for the job. I had already gotten two previous estimates. Mr.Starks and his crew showed up on time and worked very hard to make sure everything was addressed as well as looked just like new again. We have already received multiple compliments on the finished product. I would definitely hire Metropolitan Builders Inc. again. Mr. Starks was a very pleasant man and it was a joy to get to know him. I appreciate Mr. Starks and the rest of the crews hard work, due diligence, and honesty. It's extremely rare these days to find a person of Mr. Stark's profession that performs such quality work and stands behind it. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!

Metropolitan Builders/Abraham and his crew, are marvelous. We hired Abraham to come fix/redo/complete a multi-room project after a previously hired contractor messed up. (Long story). Abraham and his team bravely took on the mess, worked with the city, our architect, our fireplace, electric and gas people and now we have the use of our downstairs back! And for the first time since buying this home, we can use said downstairs during the winter because we are warm and cozy. Specifically, Abraham and his team had to replace an outside wall, repair and replace headers, frames, insulation, repair foundation, build frames and set in/hang specialty windows/doors, frame/build a fireplace with mantle, hearth and tile, repair inside floors and walls where the other contractor did damage, repair/renovate our bathroom--re do a shower pan, replace a window and tile the shower. Abraham and his crew are careful, professional craftsmen and we could not be more pleased with the results. Abraham kept us informed of progress along the way, and asked for our opinion/decisions as needed. He and his team were very good about explaining things, especially to someone who didn't understand construction language! We now have a beautiful downstairs which has become our go-to area. Abraham's quote was honest and fair. We will trust Abraham again for any future projects--our only regret is that we did not hire Abraham from the start of this past one! If you are looking for honest, dependable, professional craftsmen, this is the team to hire. THANK YOU, ABRAHAM!!

Abe did a very professional tile job in my bathroom shower in the north end of Tacoma. It was replacing the tile shower after it failed from 20 years of use. Abe explained his timeline, his quote and provided updates as the work progressed. Everything went just as Abe explained from start to finish. I would heartily recommend Abe and his firm to anyone. The whole process was seamless and well orchestrated.
