I hired MG United and gave them their required $1800 deposit, plus purchased all materials myself. They only came for one partial day, then provided a new contract price nearly 3 times the original price, and demanded an additional $2000 to return to repair the damage done on that first day. They were hired to install a new bathroom door, some crown moulding, a 24 inch custom shelf unit, and new trim around the door and window, and repair a 6in x 6in section of wall surrounding the plumbing stack. They created and left deep gaps around the window and door, damaged the door jamb leaving deep gouges in the wood, removed the bathroom door, and left me with no bathroom door for my only bathroom. They attempted to install the trim I'd purchased on the damaged door and window casings without repairing any of the damage first. They even damaged areas of the walls, ceiling, and trim that were not involved in the work they'd been hired to do. Every board was cut short and crooked. I had to hire a different contractor to repair their damage, sheet rock 2 walls (that had been ready for painting before MG United started work), and complete the entire job MG United had been hired to do.
