We had a fire in 2019 After talking with a family member who MGC1 LLC had done work for ( KITCHEN & BATH me & my husband decided to hire MGC1 LLC. We were nervous at first because of all the stories you here about contractors. We Marv & his crew did an outstanding job!!!! We highly recommend anyone to use this company.

I’m a small business owner in NE Philadelphia. This is the third time that I’ve used MGC1. Every time I’ve been thoroughly pleased with his timetable and finished product! He delivered exactly what he promised. I’m completely satisfied with his services and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him or use him again in the future.

We just had a brand new house build with Ryan homes . We decided not to have our basement finish till after we moved in. When moved in we got 3 quotes Marv was the middle one that we went with & couldn't be more happier with the work . The details my wife and I. He told us the guys will start 7am to 4pm they were there 6:45 -7am every morning never missed a day. We will be using MGC1 LLC again on future projects..

Marv has ignored many issues when he repaired my roof in 2016. The complaints were pretty much like the ones on the BBB site where Marvin didn't finish the work and /or never fixed the problem with the leaks. His guarantees are like the roofs he repairs - THEY DON'T HOLD WATER! The man has selective hearing when it comes to fulfilling his obligations. Sure he talks good smack but he is no craftsman.

Beware of the FACTS about marv. He has a long track record of talking a good game but when his word is on the line, it is full of deceit and toilet paper. BEWARE!!

I hire Marv's General Contracting do my basement , kitchen and mater bathroom. Iam very pleased with the work. Definitely will hire him again to do any work for me. After reading some of these comments on here in my opinion he's a good contractor. Good job Marv thanks again look forward to doing more future business with you. The Jenkins.

Unprofessional owner Marvin Brown. Hard to contact him as he rarely accesses his voicemail resulting in you not able to leave a message.

My wife and I hired him to do some small remodeling on our basement for an estimated cost of $11,570. We paid 1/2 down last summer and little effort has been made to work on the project. Some materials were delivered and some framing done but once he had our money he took little interest in moving our basement redo along.

Marv is a difficult person to communicate with but at the beginning he had his better behavior hat on. He has been rude but when he became crude with my wife by phone we knew we had made a mistake. Honestly, his second personality is showing that of a common street thug. I didn't sign up for abuse to me, let alone my wife. We're in the process of filing a complaint with the PA Attorney General but I think we'll be dishing out some more money but this time to an attorney. Can't believe this crap has been going on since last year. BEWARE of this guy Marv! :((

Doesn't complete work on time and is over budget. Presently filed small claims case for $3250 of work incomplete. Beware of this man that talks too much!
