MGP Homes did a pool project for us. We had some issues midway through the project and as soon as that happened, their communication completely changed, from being very responsive to incredibly unresponsive. Once our project was finished, we didn’t get any instruction on how to utilize the pool, we were sold a heater that doesn’t work when it’s very cold, so our pool almost froze this winter, and they don’t respond to any messages or requests for help. Literally ZERO. Their warranty on the pool is 3 months, which feels once the job is done, they don’t want to be a part of any type of conversation with their client after. We’ve been waiting for them to get a website so we can leave a google review but this is the only place we’ve seen to do so. I should say, they did mostly nice work but the fact that when their client was not happy with something in the process turns into them ignoring their client like it was some sort of bad date after investing all of that money in to a pool, I would just make sure to negotiate some communication into the contract since they will only do exactly as the contract states and if the contract doesn’t explicitly say they will talk to you after, they probably won’t.
