Mike Ambler can not be trusted! We purchased a home that he listed on the MLS. Mike owned the land and plans and had it listed on the MLS for $879k ($30k higher than originally listed) We purchased this home based on the understanding the Mike had permits and was ready to start building. Mike lied to us. He did not even have a clue how much this home would cost to build. After 2 months he finally had cost and raised the price $36k and took away $50k worth of upgrades that were included in the blue prints and on the MLS Ad. Try and find some feed back on Mike. Nearly impossible to find any good feedback. I would highly recommend that you stay away from this builder. I feel he is like a snake oil salesman. He will lie to you to try and get work.

Buyer beware. Contractor makes like of commitment but does not fulfill them. I had a bunch of items which did not get done, by this contractor. Had to hire other people to perform those tasks as well as do repairs/replace defects/poor performance on a new construction.

Do your research on Mike Ambler Construction LLC. We did we did not find any recent information on his or his company. We took a gamble and decided to purchase a home and Lot from him. One of my worst real estate transactions ever. Mike Ambler is a liar and one of the most dishonest contractors you will ever deal with. We are very great full that we were able to cancel the contract and not loose any money. From day one Mike lied to us. He was going to build us a custom home and that was a total joke. For example you do not spend nearly 1 million dollars and have the contractor install $4450 worth of appliances. That cost was for a Double over, Refrigerator, cook top, dishwasher and Microwave. Mike took away the stone front the front of the home and the rock fireplace. No molding around the widows, bottom of the line windows and the list goes on. Stay away from MIke Ambler he can not be trusted. The home was on Cindy's Trail in Carson City!
