  Rebuild a deck and replace all the trim on the back of my house.

  Michael is a complete fraud. He lies about everything. I had a similar experience. He was supposed to rebuild a deck and replace all the window trim on my house for $20,000. He did the deck but never did the trim. After two months of me begging him to finish he told me that he was keeping $17,000 of my money and not doing the rest. There is no way I could get the job finished for $3000. He is a complete fraud.

  Rehab Project

  Did a shoddy job on a flip we just purchased including lying about a plumbing issue that was apparently "fixed." Moved in and cannot use any toilets, showers with leaks coming from ceiling. I do not recommend at all.

  I paid the guy to finish my deck and bathroom, the problem was, I made the mistake of paying him before he even finished my deck. When I paid him he then told me he was missing a piece of my deck and told me that he would be able to get the board. Five months passed by and nothing. He blocks your calls and never replies. The guy is all talk and doesn’t finish the job. My bathroom toilet is leaking and there’s cracks in my walls. Don’t trust this guy cause he does a horrible job.

  kitchen remodel

  We started the process for a renovation on an apartment in Manhattan. We paid a $5000 deposit. Subsequently we found that he didn't have the insurance required by the management company, so we told him we couldn't continue with the process and asked for our deposit back. That was 4 months ago and we have gotten nothing back. He has blocked our phone calls and doesn't respond to texts or emails. He had done no work and had bought no materials, so all he had spent was the money on having an assistant fill out the application. Because of Covid, small claims court is closed, or I would have pursued him in that way. He has stolen our money.

  I would never recommend Michael. He had problems getting along with the building manager. I had to get a new contractor and it cost me another $20,000.00 to finish the job. In the end he never returned my calls. He said he has so much experience in NY city...
