I gave Ryan Camerlin $3085 to complete a list of electrical projects. The same evening he had finished, I discovered that the work was either done incorrectly or weren't done at all.
For examples, none of the landscape lights he was asked to replace, were replaced at all. And, none of the motion detectors worked properly. Lights would go on and off without any motion. He also didn't replace four of the thermostats as agreed upon in the projects list.
What made it worst, was that when I contacted him to come complete the work, he kept rescheduling or didn't show up at all after I had adjusted my work schedule to meet with him. He finally stopped returning my texts altogether.
I filed a complaint against him with the Mass AG for deceptive practices and working without a license. There is also currently a suit pending against him for nearly $5000.

Ray was very accommodating in arriving on quick call to check what was causing problems with electrical source to my mobile home. Under Mass mobile home laws, the landlord is responsible for source of power up to point of connection. Ray found out my source at the meters had never been upgraded to give my 100 amp box what was needed. Nor could it hold 100 amps. It was great hearing what A Licensed Electrician had to say. Since our landlord barely ever hired licensed contractors, & never took out permit to redo electrical when "upgrading" home for sale. Now I'm hoping Ray can do some more work for me. And I recommend him not by his work experience only, but by his honesty, character, & willingness to hear what the customers needs really are.

If I could give a negative 10 star rating, I would. This contractor was a nightmare. He was very friendly until my husband expressed concerns about the quality of his work. We wanted cracks repaired in our bedroom ceiling and above our fireplace. Sloppy patching and sloppy sanding. The paint job was terrible, too. The paint was so thinly applied it was almost like undercoat rather than an actual paint job. He and his crew, except for Elias, did very, very poor work. We had to re-do much of their work after we paid van Molle $7000 check.
But it gets worse...in our stereo room, my husband specifically told him not to move our costly stereo speakers. Well, his crew did move them and proceeded to knock over a cherry wood speaker which then hit another piece of audio equipment which then dented the cherry wood of the speaker. Instead of being honest and filing a claim with his insurance company, he or his crew did a really rotten job of patching the dent with a sticky clear glue and switched the damaged speaker with the undamaged one to avoid immediate discovery. Talk about low....
But it gets better...John was apparently afraid of my husband's reaction to the above said incidence, so he suddenly disappeared for two days, knowing that my husband had to go out of town in 2 days. His excuse was that he had to go to a funeral for a friend's wife who supposedly died of breast cancer. Massachusetts publishes all deaths of its residents each week - there were no deaths of breast cancer in Leominster where this is located and nor a month afterward. Talk about low....
We found drips of paint on rugs, blotches on walls, half-painted mop boards, the patched cracks on the ceiling re-opened...like I said, a total nightmare of a business and crew. Just look at this business' HomeAdvisor rating - the last good rating was in 2019. Afterwards, crickets. Really, really good businesses having 5 star rating after 5-star rating.
We rued the day we hired this business. You have been warned, hire at your own peril!
