Mike Sloan was a subcontractor called in to finish the job on a larger house renovation. He showed up late and was physically incapable of doing the job. He did not follow proper COVID procedures and did not wear a mask in my home. He came one day and did a bunch of work. He then failed the city inspection (partly because he did not bring a ladder, a necessary part of his job, for the city electrical inspector to see into an access panel) and did not complete even the simple task of making sure all the outlets in my home were checked for correct wiring and outlet covers. He had to get an associate to come to even bend down to do the work. When he failed the inspection, he then did not contact us for 3 business days and did not show up to work the day that was confirmed at all. His excuse was that he did not have access to a car, but refused to use public transit, any car sharing service, or any of his worker's vehicle. He then yelled at me that he was not at my "beck and call" for me having the audacity to expect him to show up on the day he confirmed to fix the problems he should have fixed 3 visits ago. I do NOT recommend working with this man or his company. He is unprofessional and incapable of actually completing the work in any sort of efficient, professional, and timely manner.
