My name is Michael Delavega, I am the owner of Michael's Discount Painting. We are a licensed, insured, and family operated painting company here in the San Diego area. We cover all of San Diego County as well as the Temecula Area. I have been painting interiors and exteriors for over 8 years now but I took my skills to the next level and started my own company a little under 3 years ago. I got into this line of work because I was raised in a family of painters. My father has been painting for 25+ years and both of my older brothers are Licensed painters. I began masking and prepping homes on the weekends since I was about 8 years old. I am the youngest child in the middle. My father taught me everything I know. I learned at a very young age that if you work hard you can get something you have been wanting, like the new video that just came out. Now, that I’m a contractor I am thankful for those work weekends as a kid with my father because Now I’m the boss, and I am great at what I do.     I loved working with Michael's Discount Painting. The owner and his wife Michelle treated us like family. I have no complaints, the work came out amazing. The customer service I received was excellent, they answered when I called or called me back within 2 hours. I am really happy I hired Michael's Discount Painting. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a Quality painting company who doesn't charge and arm and a leg.

    We contracted with Michael's Discount Painting to paint the exterior of our home. During the job there were many delays, promises to show up to work which were not kept and very poor communications. The job finally got done and we paid them. Several weeks later we discovered that they had not painted the top of the patio covers. We would never had know if it weren't for an inspection of the house for another job. When I informed Michael's they said they would correct the oversight. Three times they committed to come and three times they failed to show up. They have proven to be undependable and untrustworthy. I would not recommend them for any work to anyone.

    Michael’s Discount Painting did a great job painting our 2600 sq ft home. The attention to detail was superb. They were on time every day and left our house clean every day. They finished our interior painting project within 5 days and it looks amazing, I have gotten at least 10 compliments on the colors and painting. Thank you MDP, I will definitely recommend you to my family and friends.
