I recently used Michael's Master Plumbing for a toilet installation. They gave me a quote and were out to my house in just a few days. I also had a kitchen faucet to replace, and so on the fly they fixed that as well on the very same day. I was very pleased with them for the price, quality, timeliness, and professionalism displayed throughout.
Based on that experience I called them again and asked for an estimate on another potential job that we had discussed at the first job. I was told someone would get back to me and leave a voice mail if I didn't answer the phone. I never received a voice mail or e-mail, and so after a few days I called. The person who answered identified themselves by their business name but not their own; I assume it was Michael? He assured me that someone had left a voice mail and when I insisted I did not have one he told me to "stay put for the next 10 minutes" and someone would call. When I responded that I could not do that right now as I was going to be away from my phone for the next 30 minutes, he said "then call someone else" and hung up. I called back twice and no one answered.
I would give this business 5 stars if it were not for the rudeness and lack of professionalism by whoever answered the phone. It was totally and completely uncalled for. I left them a voice mail about this unfortunate incident and if I don't hear from someone soon to straighten it out then I will NOT be using this business again and I STRONGLY recommend against using them to others as well.
