    I’ve not had such a poor experience in a very long time. There’s WAY too much to go into. Just say they started the project earlier this year with a two month promise to finish and still haven’t completed the work many many months later and now I can’t get ahold of them. Thankfully I didn’t sign the loan docs the bank sent me. AND I WONT UNTIL IT’S COMPLETE!!!

    We're 12 months in to having solar panels sold to us by Michigan Solar and Roofing LLC. We are now learning they in no way will offset the cost of our electric bill, as promised. This means once the loan kicks in this December we will be paying more than our previous electric costs. Their practices are completely non-transparent; they only tell you what they want you to know in order to make a sale. We were told the panels would "pay for themselves" which is clearly not going to be the case. We get little to no production in the winter months. That's the overall problem - the "over-production" through the summer months are supposed "offset" of our winter bill with credits. However, we have received no credits. Our electric bills have still been higher, meaning the combination of our electricity costs + loan payment will be higher than what we were previously paying. To date we have not received any credits toward our electric bill due to solar production, which began last August. We have attempted to contact them, but the last we heard from them was in April. I continue to send messages in hopes someone will respond. In my messages I have also included photos of our electricity bill AND the solar production via Enphase. I have proof in a Facebook messenger chain explicitly stating from their employee we should not be incurring any charges for electrical usage. Shortly after threatening legal action we received a bill from loan provider Mosaic “suggesting” we pay over $6000 on our loan by Aug 11, 2023. Our panels were installed last August, payments are not supposed to start until December 2023. I have requested that they take the solar panels down, reimburse us for the costs already incurred, and cancel the loan. Someone needs to regulate how information is disseminated on using solar power in Michigan because this definitely feels like a case of just trying to sell a product without disclosing extremely important information.
