I highly recommend Mid-Atlantic Enterprise as a contractor. I used them in 2015 to rebuild my 25 year old 2nd floor deck which had become a hazard with age. I first got a very exorbitant estimate for the deck work from the contractor that was repairing the brick work and shoring up the foundation of my house. The first estimate seemed very high, so I contacted Mid-Atlantic because they are certified Trex installer. Their estimate was significantly lower and coupled with their Trex certification, it was an easy decision to go with Mid-Atlantic.
The work took about 6 weeks, partly due to weather. The crew was totally professional and perfectionists. Mid-Atlantic was very personable and there were no surprise additional charges. The work was meticulous and the crew was very trustworthy. Over the course of the job, we became friends. Since the work was an exterior deck, they seldom came into the house ... not even for bathroom breaks. Their lunch period was always less than an hour and they stayed as long as there was daylight and work. They cleaned up afterward and left the job site clean at the end of the project.
Subsequent to the deck project, I contacted Doug at Mid-Atlantic to shave a small 1x3 inch corner from my granite kitchen counter for the installation of a new, but slightly larger cooking range. Doug came over right away and offered to do this small job for free. This is representative of the warm heartedness of the owner, Doug.
I would use them again in a heartbeat. Totally professional and trustworthy ... with great "bedside manners".
