Mike Holland began construction over 50 years ago when his father (Alan Holland) introduced him to the trade where Mike began working as a mail clerk for Turner-McKee Construction in downtown Los Angeles. Turner-McKee was the general contractor for the 50-story Atlantic-Richfield Towers. At 16, Mike joined the Labors Union and, in the summer of 1969, worked on the 50th floor pouring cement for the helicopter landing pad on the North tower.

In 1972, Mike’s father moved the family to New York where he continued his Construction career as Senior Vice President of the NY Development Corp with such projects as the Jacob Javits Center and Syracuse Dome Stadium. Mike continued his construction career working numerous jobs ranging from running parts to job sites, electrical estimator, siding installer, painting, and project manager. He’s done it all.

Mike became fascinated with the advent of technology where he eventually became CEO of two different software companies. He developed turn-key vertical market business systems for the motorcycle and RV industries and later a B2B platform integrating these vertical markets in the latter 90’s.

Twenty years ago, Mike started MHC with his unique blend of technology and construction experience as a General Contractor along Orange County’s Southern Coast. The passion for construction introduced by his father in the 1960’s continues today with MHC’s team leading the future with their efficient, dedicated, focused excitement to revolutionize the custom home building process.
