  Interior repairs

  MIke has provided painting services, exterior and interior, as well as interior update work for two of my properties. The latest included the removal and updated replacement of a handrail. Always cheerful and positive and so trustworthy and meticulous. It clearly shows in the excellent workmanship.Thank You! s/Joe&Racheal

  Fence Repair and paint

  Mis-representation of workmanship

  Being out of state, I hired Mike to repair a fence and repaint an exterior wall. He was scheduling almost a month out. He bid 5 post replacement for $600. Two of the posts on the fence had existing braces so I trusted that those two would be of the 5 replaced. He replaced 5 posts as stated. Then asked to be paid. I told him that we needed to have pictures of the job completed. He gave me the run around about how he wasn't out my way for several days but he would try to get them to us. I get an aggressive call from him a few days later stating that he had not been paid and that I would be charged late fees. I again told him send me pictures. I get pictures from Mike the next day with what appears to be satisfactory repairs so I send him payment. My realtor came out several days later and told me that the fence was not repaired. He then sent me a picture of the two braces still in place, the posts that were broken were still broken. I sent Mike the picture of the braces via email and he explained that it was existing work that the original installer needed to take down. He then proceeded on about how he did such a great job on the fence posts he installed. I replied that he had mis-represented his work and did not complete the job that he was contracted to do. I told him how disappointed I was with this obvious repair requirement and that he was displacing it as existing work and that we expect him to complete the job.
  A day later Mike called me and told me my email made him mad. I told him I was mad to. he raised his voice began cussing at me trying to demean me and telling me how much work he did to the fence. I told him that he did not complete his job and I expect it done. He cussed at me called me names and told me not to call him again. I stooped to his same level and told him likewise.
  He could have kept his emotions in check and told me that there would be an additional charge for the two other posts. he could have bid 7 posts. instead he took the easy way out. Mis-represented his work and is attempting to bully me that his work was acceptable.

  The man had no common sense in this instance as to what repairs were required. I would have rather he said that he did not have the skills to do such advanced work.
