Micheal is an irresponsible businessman who actively ignores customers after he takes their money. If you want to get a hold of him, you have to call with a different phone number, using a fake name. Here's what happened.
Michael and his crew came out and ran a thin wire down the side of our house to the outdoor AC unit and recharged our system, which has a leak. When I say "ran a wire" I mean: there's a loose wire dangling in the air down the side of my house. He wasn't able to run the wire properly with the amount of time he allotted, but charged me $600 anyway, saying "I'll return to re-run the wire and install your new coil when the part comes in. The $600 you're paying will go towards the new coil, which will be about $1,000." He leaves, me expecting to pay another $400 for a new coil in a couple weeks.
Four months go by. He doesn't return calls, he doesn't answer his phone. He has phone answering software that asks for your name before he answers... Eventually, I call him using my wife's phone number and said a fake name. He picks up immediately.... I say "I need you to repair my AC unit" and he says "Sure, where are you located." I then reveal that I'm the customer he's avoided the entire summer and he's caught red handed. He gives me a story about parts not being available because of Covid. I give him some grace, but say "That's fine, but don't ignore my calls and keep me in the loop. If you continue screening my calls, I'll have to leave you a bad review, I'm sorry." He said he would call me each week with an update on the order.
Seeing as it's now dead of winter February, about 10 months later, I would say he's not coming back. He's a swindler. Avoid at all costs.
